If you have ever wondered what a house looks like in a costume, TA DA!!!!!  The men arrived just after 8 a.m. and started the process of "tenting" the house and then introducing a poison gas to kill swarming drywood termites (and anything else living inside the house!).  They were finished by 11 a.m. and then put up some ominous signs all around, warning people to keep out.  It's a beautiful day, and no wind, so the job went quickly and it's staying in place.  The tent will come off sometime tomorrow and then we have to wait at least until the end of the day on Wednesday before we can go back inside. We've never had this experience before, so it's all very interesting, but exhausting (all the work that went into getting food, meds, etc. out of the house......and then we get to move it all back in! ).....The extra is the view from the back of the house......
