Balls to that Jerry

Great fun in science today.  I took in about 500 coloured balls that my girls used to have when they were little in a ball pool.  

They were my atoms:
- I glued some together to make a solid arrangement.
- We emptied the rest into big boxes to see how a liquid flows.
- We then went nuts and made them 'fill the container they are in' as a gas.  As the container was the classroom it ended up being a huge ball fight.  

It amused one lad when he got me in a rather sensitive area, and this was followed up with a whack in the face from another.  Suppose it gives them some payback for all the nagging about spelling I dish out ;)
