Chippy
I left my walk rather late today - and what a grim walk it was! Cold, sodden ground, misting rain and no light left at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. This, I thought to myself (grumpily), is exactly like a winter's day in England.
So I was looking for a gloomy shot to correspond to my mood, when up popped this little chipmunk on a branch the lake (that's why the background is white - it's water). Now, what ever else one might have had in mind for a shot, it's very hard to resist an animal, especially when it poses so obligingly. Still, it took about 10 attempts to get something sharp enough in the rapidly accelerating enshroudment of the day. 1/20 second exposure! Yikes.
Happy Halloween.
