Buttermere Tree

This morning we were out early after breakfast and headed along to the Buttermere tree.  Despite it being early there were two other photographers there before us.  The light and mist was beautiful and I preferred the view from the side with the light on the trees on the lakeside.  
After the promising start we headed along to Low Fell with a plan to climb it and Darling Fell.  However the mist closed in and we only made it as far as the top of Low Fell as the visibility was so poor, and headed back early to the hotel for a beer before dinner.  It is our wedding anniversary today so we're having dinner in the restaurant and the menu looks delicious!
