Dressing up for the Race that stops the nation

We always celebrate Maggies birthday and Melbourne Cup Day together . Always seems longer than 15 years that she has been a very good friend . She is one of 13 and moved here from Ireland when she finished her nursing training.
A birthday lunch at her house today after watching the historic Cup . It was won by a horse with 100 to 1 odds that was ridden by a female jockey , the first ever and to make the story complete her younger brother is the stable hand and has Downs Syndrome . We are sure their pictures and story will spread far and wide . Well done Michelle and Stevie and Happy Birthday Maggie !
