Home!

After a lovely 14 hour (!) flight from Sydney to Dubai, we had another three hour break in the airport.  We were beginning to flag a little by this point, and quickly bought a drink of tea.  We then realised we were hungry, so also had something to eat.

The main blip and first extra are more snow capped peaks seen from the plane.  I think the blip is somewhere in Iran, the extra was later in the flight but I'm not sure where!

The final flight was quite good - leaving late and arriving early in London.  Unfortunately, due to the fog, the airport was a bit clogged up so we ended up circling in a holding pattern for a while, though we did still manage to land before our scheduled time.

Once in London we got the underground though to King's Cross and then ate a meal.

The train journey up to Leeds is a couple of hours, and we were definately beginning to snooze by the end of it, despite another cup of tea.  We finally arrived in Leeds at 5.50pm and took a taxi home, arriving by 6.30pm.  I think we were both asleep half an hour later...
