A Beautiful Mellow Sunset.

I painted Owls all morning on the new pebbles, so we decided a walk was required in the afternoon. So we headed to Inverness and headed to Craig Phadrig woods at the Leachkin, pronounced ( Larkin).
while we did a three mile walk in the woods, which were beautiful with the colours of autumn, we saw a Blue Jay and Woodpeckers. After that we drove home by going round the Beauly Firth and dropping down onto the coast road on the north side of the firth at Redcastle. We stopped off to see our friend and have a coffee and surprise, surprise, as we were leaving to go to the car a Red Squirrel with black hair on his tail, ran across the road and along the wall in front of us. Then it jumped up the fir tree and into the canopy. Unfortunately my camera was in the car. Still we drove down to the shore in time to capture this beautiful mellow sunset. Blip sorted! It was the biggest Squirrel I had seen at Redcastle. So I will have to take a trip back to try and capture it.
