Too cool for school

Job creation is a micro industry out here it seems, it can be quite inventive, there's the guy who will fill your tank at the petrol station and then the one who will wash your windsceeen the same time.

This guy in the picture was the security guard at Halsteads, the timber merchants, his job is to check the receipt against the goods you have. Pretty much all shops have someone to check your purchases, except they are not usually quite so cool in their huge sunglasses, although they do like a smart looking uniform.

It's been 'chilly' today, this evening is 22 degrees if the baby monitor is to be believed, this has brought the cold weather clothes out in force. We've seen a couple of down jackets, lots of wooly hats and warm clothing everywhere. It's a bit like the UK in reverse, where the shorts and t-shirts come out at the first hint of summer, here, it's time to show off your cold weather kit.

This little Brit has enjoyed the respite very much and feels quite at home with a lovely cool breeze blowing away. Apparently it's bad for rain though, so maybe not to be welcomed quite so much.
