Jet Engine vs. Leaf Blower.

Using the leaf blower this morning it struck me how much it sounds like a jet engine idling. Air gets sucked in, fan speeds it up and pushes it out of the exhaust pipe. Ok, a jet has a bit more of an oomph with the injection of fuel but it sounded very much the same although there was no throttle to get that ROAR.
