I'm considered a bit odd in my bird group as I'm really not very keen on goldfinches - I find their colour scheme quite offensive!

When I went to Canada I saw American goldfinches - far more tasteful - just black and gold.

However, all I saw today was a little flock of goldfinches which kept coming down to feed on the seedheads ..
