Hospital stay 8

This painting is on the corridor wall in the hospital, en route to the shop. I noticed it yesterday. It has a sheet beside it explaining that it represents MacMillan nurses and the work they do. The dying tree has life going on around, in and beneath it. The poppies represent what we know poppies to represent - sacrifice and service, and the MacMillan nurse is the central character, calmly and serenely going about her work, bringing peace to all around. 

I actually chose to Blip this because I really liked it as an image, aside from what it represents.

Hopefully tomorrow night will be my last here, depending on blood tests and what the doctor says.
