Winston's makeover

Winston, our old garden gnome is having a make over. With his a patriotic Jubilee red, white and blue colours he looks the business in amongst the flowers. You can't see his blue pants in the picture and his shirt is a work in progress but once the rain stops (if ever) that will get sorted. Then he will be ready for the worst of the winter weather.

He watched over my mums garden in Cheshire for forty years but now he's moved up to Edinburgh. However I'm not sure the Scottish climate agrees with him as he had a bad case of frost bite last winter and lost a bit of his foot. (since replaced).
