Vanished in the mist ...

This view along Royal Crescent this morning felt very strange without the view at the end of the road of the encircling hills. All that shows is the woodland on the nearer slopes; there is a hillside rising above that that has completely disappeared.

The mist didn't shift all day, and now, at 10pm, it's probably clearer than it's been all day. Still can't see the other side of the Firth, however ...
