Trapped in a mist wrapped village

At about 3 30 pm today, just as I was getting ready to go visit the local pond to look for some colourful Autumn shots, the mist appeared and within ten minutes everything turned soft grey, muffled and rather dark for an early afternoon. It's now 11 30 pm and the mist is even thicker.

Hence the somewhat dramatic title.
