Lee "Scratch" Perry visits Coventry

My day formed 2 distinct halves:

* The first involved kids: I took the 3 kids to Fargo Village for a wander.

* The second involved adults: I went to see Lee "Scratch" Perry at a new live music venue in Coventry: The Empire.  There was a young support band by the name of Kioko who were very enthusiastic and rather good.  I was really disappointed at the dreadful turnout - Perry is a living legend who goes back to the very early days of Reggae, Ska and Dub.  Even though he's 78 years old, he puts on quite a show.  He is some character: somewhere in between eccentric and nuts ... 

Naturally, I took many photos, as it evidenced by today's extras.
