A little bit of sunshine.....

and my Calendula finally opens its first flower (well there are two actually!) :)

These are lovely flowers, they just come up year, after year, after year. I discovered this a few years ago when I put in Sunflowers and these. The Sunflowers failed to appear~yet the year before they were in abundance. I don't know why I haven't been able to grow them again, at one time I had lots and did a project of on them for my City and Guilds in Arts and Crafts.

Just about to sit down to my dinner, sausages, green beans and sweet potato, then off to another afternoon of work.
