Blondie

You may remember earlier in the spring, I blipped a clutch of ducklings that contained one wee mite who was a much paler colour than the others .

In a break in the weather  today I popped into the Sanctuary Ponds to check if the duckling was surviving and if it was still that paler colour. The answer was yes to both questions and my goodness, how they have grown.

Here is the little blondie , and with it another duckling from the same hatching which is the normal colour for these ducks.

In the extras is the newest batch of ducklings at the pond.
