I saw the surgeon today and asked him some questions about the surgery, and what to expect afterwards.
It sounds like the first few weeks following the surgery is going to be hell on earth, and I don't think I'll be venturing too far from home.
But I'm sure I'll get through it, after all, I survived having an ileostomy bag , which has caused me no end of trouble, so I don't think this will be any worse.
