Hangman

St Edmund Arrowsmith was captured on the moors around here in the sixteen hundreds before being hung, drawn and quartered. I was perhaps a little more pleased to see the gallows this November morning.

By the time I'd arrived home last night, the light had gone, but in the gloom I could still make out the curve of the brace and feel the solidity of the oak posts - very tactile...

They've left the pegs slightly proud as instructed! Good!
