My first full day in Canada was spent in Hamilton with colleagues (mainly) from McMaster University. I delivered a paper at a symposium on library and information science research in the afternoon (prepared at home on Sunday), and attended a community engagement event on big data, health and social innovation. All went very well, although I am suffering somewhat from jet-lag.

My blip is of a sculpture at the entrance to the Mills library at McMaster University. These three words are very appropriate to my research and teaching interests.
