Tage's Angel

Tage (pronounced "Tay-er") is, or rather was, my mother in law's brother. I suppose that makes him my uncle in law. He was a Jyske (i.e. native of Jutland) country man who liked to make things out of wood in his spare time. One day. looking at all the wood shavings on the floor, he started to think about all the things he could make out of the wood that would otherwise end up on the fire. In his lifetime he made many hundreds of intricate models, constructions and mobiles out of wood shavings.
It delights me to think that there are many inspired people, most of  whom we have never heard about, doing and making wonderful things. Tage was one of them.
