Underneath the Canal

A pleasant walk alongside the River Brun in Burnley. The Leeds - Liverpool canal goes overhead here.
This area was once the home to Bank Hall Pit and included a dry dock for boat maintenance, a canal depot, two wharves, a separate branch of the canal and a ginny track. The area is now sloping parkland.
