Life's Too Short for Bad Coffee

Ann spent most of the day painting the spare room. It's looking nice with just a little second coat finishing off to do. As a result we didn't get out for coffee until later this afternoon when we walked into town for a well deserved cup at Costa.

I spent the morning looking at Tom's laptop, a Dell computer running Vista. It's pretty old as it was my old hand-me-down when I bought my latest laptop a few years back. Anyway I think it's condemned; as far as I can see it's not possible to update to Windows 10 without paying money, there's no guarantee it will run any faster than a snail on a go-slow and to top it all, there are two keys missing, so OK if you don't want to type the word *asy or br**z* (the second key is the down arrow).
