The doorbell has appeared on blip before in a moment of exasperation with its wiring.  

The operation of the bells had become erratic, so today I tackled fixing this lot.  Took a lot longer than hoped, but the wires no longer pass via the cloakroom and linen cupboard doors. A number of spiders have been evicted.
