Lovely cousin, lovely gifts

As you may already know, my sweetie's lovely cousin, hazelh, is here with us while she works/presents/researches/attends conferences. We are so thrilled she is able to be with us that is the gift enough for us. However, in true hazelh fashion she had the most splendid and appropriate gifts (well for ME anyway)! We were presented with a gorgeous Harris Tweed purse (can it double as a sporran for my sweetie?) swatches of tweed fabric so I can sew another cool tea cosy, Eddi Reader CD of Robbie Burns Scottish songs and an exciting package of large trivets depicting famous UK golf courses, the main one being the well known bridge on the 18th hole at St.Andrews. What was so cool about this picture of the golf bridge on the trivet is that in 2011 when we were visiting hazelh and her partner they took us for the most amazing day including a picnic in the countryside, whiskey tour/tasting, Sterling Castle, famous seaside fish & chips AND the highlight to this day - to the historic and storied St Andrews Golf Course. The ipad photo in the upper right above is of the 4 of us standing on this very bridge! It truly was the most perfect day, and these very generous gifts brought back all of these great memories!
