2015 Saturday -- Spiderman's Bed

Tristan's (sort of) stepmom, Nichol, found this race car bed on Craig's List for a reduced price. She got it and made it/painted it into a Spiderman bed for Tristan. Of course he was thrilled!

I wrote "(sort of) stepmom" because Tristan's Dad has not married Nichol. They do have a little boy of their own, Jaxon. We're not even sure if Nichol and Nick are still together, but our grandaughter Desiree, Tristan's mom, doesn't like for Nichol to be referred to as "Stepmom."

We don't agree with that attitude because Nichol has been like a mom to Tristan. We think she should be praised for the way she has loved him and cared for him. We're thrilled that she has taught him to love to read and that she is making him a bed, a Spiderman bed.
