Blue Pools @ Yamba

SH and I trundled down the track yesterday morning to have a sleep over with Sandy (ozbeachcomber) and Allan (extra) in Yamba..... we arrived and was welcomed into their lovely home with chatting and laughing on the patio. Later we were taken on a guided tour around the most beautiful coastline and beaches...all around Yamba and the Yuragir National Park.
It was a grey old day with intermittent rain....which didn't really bother us too much.

We arrived at the Blue Pools...I place I remembered from my teens.......drinking wine from flagons...dating young surfer boys.....jumping into the ocean ......then a dive into the fresh water pools...it was heaven.

The stay was too short...so much more to explore.........I think I will be coming back here ....next time with a little guy in tow.
