Toadstools

I was thinking of blipping fireworks today (for the benefit of non-UK blippers 5th November is when we Brits "celebrate", with fireworks and bonfires, the failed attempt by Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605 [we have long memories!]). But the weather has been so wet that there aren't many fireworks around. I think there may be more on Saturday instead.

So earlier today I took this "standby" shot of this rather impressive mass of toadstools by the roadside near our house. The whole things is about 10-12 inches across, and it's been growing there for several days. I do like the colour!
