Finally got a my 28 -70 f2.8 lens replaced by the insurance company today. The camera was replaced a couple of weeks back, so it was good to reunite it with the lens I'm used to. After saying I was getting repairs both appear to be full replacements, all the wee dings and scratches I'm used to are gone.

It's my first ever insurance claim and it cost me £100 excess, but I guess that's what we have insurance for as there's no way I could have afforded to replace both without it.
