Lakeside Fireworks

This evening I went to the Dearnford Lake Bonfire Night at Whitchurch. I'm not keen on Bonfire Night festivities but went as part of the marching band which accompanied the lantern parade. It had poured since lunchtime but the rain stopped just as I got there which was extremely lucky!

The fireworks themselves were very impressive and looked beautiful  reflected in the lake. I could have done without the Boom Boom loud music and the funfair but I'm sure that they appealed to a lot of people.
