We went on a short cruise on the Thames for our work social. It wasn't sunny, but at least it didn't rain.It was nice to see London from a different perspective.

I was amused by a tourist using her iPad to take photos. It looks so odd and cumbersome. And I absolutely love the giant photo of the royal family during the Silver Jubilee in 1977, hanging on the Sea containers building by Blackfriars Bridge. And the giant canvas serves a dual purpose - it's hiding redevelopment work on the building to transform it into a luxury hotel and office space.
