Fishing

Had a nice day sorting things out, and went to meet Jess for a walk. Amazing to catch up with her, hadn't seen her since Easter! We walked along the canal and went for a nice pint in the sun at The George.

I took a detour home across the Bathampton toll bridge, and along the river Avon - but the recent rains had made the path into a river, with the result that I had to wade though water and mud in my plimsolls. As I came from the mud into the sun, I passed these two boys fishing under the overpass. Bit odd, as there are about 100 much nicer spots within a 5 minute walk...

Back for haggis and neeps, as we ate my brothers haggis souvenir from Edinburgh.
