Goodbye old apple tree

20 years ago Paladian and I planted this apple tree in the bottom of our garden. We did not realise how big it would grow, and it was planted too close to our neighbour's fence and garden shed.

Today we had to say goodbye to this tree and let it go to the great garden in the sky called green waste. It took a lot longer to take down and take away than we could have imagined. Ropes were needed to stop branches falling on the shed next door.  It was taken down with loving care - and no accidents.
