Where's the Snow?

The weather has been fantastic for at least the last two weeks, warm sunshine and glorious blue skies and is forecast to continue like this for the next twelve days and even more! Everybody around here is waiting for the snow! SwissPiper and I went to buy new cross-country skis and boots this afternoon which seemed a bit incongruous given the deep blue skies. Our friend at the local ski shop refused to sell us new skis until we had tried two or three pairs which given the lack of snow is impossible. All this sounds like a bit of a grumble but is not really, we are enjoying the unseasonal weather.
