A Time to Remember
We had a good time walking around the centre of Christchurch. I'm still amazed at the large empty areas but every time we are here more buildings are going up. This is the Bridge of Remembrance with Lavender in the foreground. Rebecca had to buy a wedding present and of course I had to purchase some things notably shoes. The biggest surprise was the forester requesting we go to Whiskey Galore and talk to the man about what new ones we might like. We walked out with two single malts from Islay. A Lagavulin and an Ardbeg.
Rebecca showed us the new office building she is now working in. It is very industrial in it's design and the pipes and wiring are exposed in the roof spaces. It has wonderful views and looks like a good space for working in.
We had a delightful dinner with the family and met the grooms parents who are over from Nottingham. This morning is looking sunny and calm which will please the bride.
