Sandwiches and cake

What a day! Had the injections in my knee this morning, I'm very lucky in that they seem to work almost straight away and I have been able to walk properly for the first time for ages! To celebrate had a slice of deliciously rich cake made out of layers of hazelnut meringue, marzipan, buttercream, ground almonds and caramel decorations in the best known tea room in Yorkshire!

Off to Portugal on Sunday, supposedly to play golf, not sure that I'm quite up to that but will have fun driving the buggy anyhow.

Have missed a few blips but am up and running again, (well not really!).
