Friday: The Craft Room

More and more places are opening up and K. and I have a long list of places that we want to try.

Tonight we headed off to a new craft beer pub called 'Craft Room'.  It was fine.  Really.  Maybe a little dark and noisy, with a lot of antlers dotted around the place, but lots of beers on tap and a good selection.  As K. said, we are always happy to support the effort, even if it is imperfectly executed.  We finished off the evening at 'Umame', where I had a decent pad thai and K. a good chicken curry.  

The barman spotted taking me taking a photo.  The waitress doesn't look terribly happy in her work (either that, or my blurry picture masks her delight)........
