Thumbs up

Norman is 93, deaf with no legs, he is a quaker and a fount of wisdom, today he said 'when you're born you're going to die but you're also going to live and that's all you need to remember'. My Mum's right hand and arm are practically useless but Norman gets her to do the thumbs up.

Today I started writing her christmas cards for her and I also took my iron and the name labels I ordered and started labeling her clothes. I met my Aunt Bonnie - my Mum's older sister - on the way home as she was on her way there, it was a lovely surprise.
