Clay decorations

Used baking soda and cornstarch to make some clay dough.  I imprinted the dough with cedar cuttings before I cut out the snowflakes.  I imprinted with a cypress cuttings the green dough that I cut the holly from.  Of course I had to put glitter on them all!  

Also being the impatient person that I am, instead of leaving them out to air dry for a day or two, I baked them at 200ºF for 90 minutes.

I had my weekly lunch with Birgit and as always, we had a great time.  I had some wonderful lentil & bacon soup.  I also spoke to one of my MS friends, Jolanda, on the phone for a good while.  Talking and laughing with these two women today made it a really good day.
