Pedestrian Crossing

Road signs like this may show respect to pedestrians. The figures of person do not necessarily put a cap, nor do they have clothes. We can say what matters is the symbols are apt to be recognised as those of a human at the very least, so how they look could come second place and then they could be a dull stick figure; but actually they aren't. It seems that this is not the case with emergency signs, on the other hand. That is, those figures do not look that fashionable. I might pick up one of those examples later on if I get round to.

I found this sign halfway up the hill at university. Someone had left his bicycle beside it.
