The Dovecot Stairs

Edinburgh has so many museums and galleries and some of them aren't as widely known as the likes of the National Museum or the RSA Galleries. One of the lesser known ones is the Dovecot Gallery which is also the home to a large weavers studio that can be viewed from a gallery above where the weaving is taking place. To get to the viewing gallery, there is a staircase that has a woven installation mad from the remnants of materials used in the weaving process. It was a rather fortuitous find for this weeks Blip Challenge theme of REMNANTS.
