Probate & a Cat Confined to Quarters

Today I had to go to Oxford Probate Court for my mum's will. We dropped in a Bicester first for a coffee and a look round. I think my mind was on other things as I wasn't really in shopping mode. I bought some Cath Kidston tea towels, but that's all.

Next we drove to the Park & Ride in Oxford. We did this because the paperwork that the court sent out said not to park in Oxford and go to one of four Park & Rides instead. Well we drove around the first Park & Ride and there wasn't a single space left, so we went to another. At the next Park & Ride there was a man putting Car Park Full signs up at the entrance. He told us that there was an Open Day at the University and all the car parks had been full since 9.30am, it was now gone 11am. He advised us not to park in Oxford, but when I asked where we should park he said he didn't know (really helpful mate... NOT). We decided to risk Oxford, parked easily in a multi-storey 10 minutes walk from the court and it cost less than the Park & Ride would have done.

Anyway, I'm glad to have that out of the way.

Jack is still being kept indoors, which he is not happy about. He hasn't managed to pull out the last stitch in his paw, so it should be healing nicely.

Tomorrow I have shopping with B planned for the morning and then meeting friends for coffee, cake and a natter :-)

I spoke too soon!!!! I posted this all of 1/2 an hour ago and now the last stitch has gone, so back to the vets tomorrow :-(
