Just as we thought the rain was set in ...

... the sun came out (not forecast) and we decided that the village cafe and bakery might be a better place for lunch than our cottage.  A trip to Staithes again this afternoon when we finally found the Gallery open and we bought two mugs and a jug - rather in the style of Yo Thom (we already own some Yo Thom pots).  So a better day than anticipated.  I'm just going to get us some food as we are gadding off again this evening to see a theatre production in Helmsley with our hosts.  I'm so pleased it's not raining like it did this morning.
