Outing

Today for my birthday we went on a long hike in the mountains, stopping half way for lunch at a restaurant. It was so lovely being able to sit on a swing seat in the restaurant garden drinking tea (see extra photos) while the children played. 

It made me smile that in the UK my birthday generally used to involve wrapping up warm for bonfire night, whereas here it involves sitting in the sun. Both are nice- just very different!
