Sherlock's turn!

Here's the other devoted and beloved four legged member of our family...Sherlock.   He is almost 16 years old and has lumps and bumps all over the place!   We have chosen to not interfere - but last week he was so withdrawn and couldn't get up, we were really worried....so off the vet....again.  ( I might have to get my own room there cos i'm there so frequently! )  After some lengthy examinations and discussion, he is on some medication.....and is doing a whole lot better!  

I headed off for a walk with both Sherlock and Zoe....she's so full of energy, bounding about like a puppy....but Sherlock is slowing down.   He actually sat down on the path and refused to go any further!   So we headed back home and Zoe and i continued onto another part of the walk!

A day off - mostly!  did have to trim and put handles of some mugs, but that didn't take much time at all.   off to read my book, then it's poker this evening.   one of our poker gang is our lovely vet....so no doubt there will be a bit of an update taking place..... gotta love small town living!
