Hubertusmarket
We arrived back into the village late. Rail maintenance and bad connections, a detour and small elevator spaces. You name it, we got it.
We hurried to the benefit concert, which was organised to meet the refugees who are living in our village. We were just in time to listen to the last two artists and eat some of the delicious sweet coconut Syrian cakes.
Afterwards we went to see the animals. The Hubertusmarkt is an annual village fair. Originally mostly a cattle market, the fair today is a lively mix of market stalls of all kinds, food stalls and artisans showing their skills. But there are also horses and sheep.
