Late

In between torrential downpours we had a fair bit of sunshine and even some blue skies, a nice change after days of fog and murk.

It has been a mild Autumn so I probably shouldn't be surprised to stumble across the odd butterfly in November, but this Speckled Wood and the Red Admiral I saw half an hour before (see extra photo) are the latest I have ever seen, beating my November 3rd record from last year.
