Late Reflected Light

Couldn't understand why these flowers were suddenly lit be the late sun's light.  That's mainly because our lounge has an east facing window.  I had been cleaning lenses so had the camera to hand and took a few images while the light continued to illuminate the flowers and leaves.  I then looked out the window to see that the light was reflecting of a small open window at an adjacent house.

I'm looking forward to seeing images from the Blenheim blip meet earlier today.  I got the impression that the weather may have brightened up for them as well.

Mum gave up on using her iPad recently.  A shame as she had enjoyed the daily images I post to Blipfoto.  At 92 she has done remarkably well, but a combination of very poor eyesight and struggling to handle the tablet without dropping it finally persuaded her that it was too much.  As she gets older her world shrinks around her and now is limited mainly to listening to the radio and TV and her room at the nursing home.  Not much of a life.
