Scala dei Turchi

Hard to believe this is the month of November. This is a beach near Agrigento, on the southern coast of Sicily. It is late afternoon on a fine day with a temperature above 20ºC. Scala Dei Turchi or 'The Turks' ladder' is the name of a nearby cliff, which has been carved like a giant stair by erosion.
