Jackfruit

Jackfruit is very traditional here and in all North side of Brazil. There are three varieties: the "hard" one, which has a firm flesh; the "soft" variety, which bears smaller fruits with a softer and sweeter flesh; the "butter" variety, which bears sweet fruits whose flesh has a consistency intermediate between the "hard" and "soft" varieties.
Not sure, but this is probably the "soft" one. Every year I try to get one of those fruits, but there are always faster guys to get them...
